Love Lives Here

I finally finished watching the very last Oprah show, she is my role model.  She said something that I live my life by, "You are responsible for YOUR life."  There are way too many people that blame everyone else for their problems, they therefore get bitter and expect others to fix their problems.  It is so much easier to blame others, but it is weak and generates no growth.  I have built a lot of strength from this knowing, knowing that I am responsible for my life and the creator of my destiny.  I spend every moment with my boys teaching the same thing because I don't want them wasting time pointing fingers, but rather take a look at themselves and see how they can change their own lives.

With that said, turns out I have created a lot of love around me, it is what I have been consciously choosing to allow into my life.  Now that everything has calmed down since all the birthdays and all the other things I was dealing with I am able to focus on the love and comfort I have everyday.  The neighbors kids are out of town and it has been so peaceful in my home and I have been able to spend a lot of quiet time with the boys and John.  Everyday I get to cook a fabulous dinner (they will accept no less *spoilt*) while listening to Josh Groban or Taylor Swift with all the candles lit.  I listen to the boys play and giggle together in the living room next to me and it keeps a smile on my face.  John works until dinner, we eat together and talk.  He does the dishes while I enjoy a hot bath, from the tub I hear him and the boys playing and laughing.

We end our evenings watching a movie in bed together (my favorite is How to Train Your Dragon).  This is what life is to me. Live, Laugh, Love.  Anyone can have a house, I am grateful to have a home.
Love lives here.

Beautiful Baby Shower

This past weekend was our baby shower!!  We decided to do it a bit early because I am one of those over-organized, over-prepared types.  It was hosted by my best friend Kindle and my sister Bianca.

I told Kindle I wanted a slight winter wonderland pink theme since it is so close to Christmas and this is what I walked in to!
It was absolutely beautiful, and we were joined by all our best family and friends, we appreciate everyone that made this such a special day for us.

This game was to guess how big I was and believe it or not the winner was Ethan!!
He definitely knows his Mummy!
The chocolate diaper game. (It was Johns first shower, he must've thought we were all crazy).
Getting ready for presents!! (The boys got to open them all).
Kindle surprised the boys with a gift each.
It was a shirt with their picture saying "I'm the biggest Brother" and "I'm the big Brother" for the hospital.
Most thoughtful thing ever!!!
I wish I could relive this day over and ov…

We Are Expecting!!!

John, myself and the boys are excited to announce that we are going to have a new addition to the family!!!!!  Excited, overjoyed, elated are a few of the words to describe how we all feel right now.
After having Ethan I truly thought I was never going to have another baby, not because I did not want one (because I did) but because, let's just say circumstances were less than ideal at the time.
John definitely did not expect to ever be...expecting... again either! But I guess we both never expected to find each other. =) This is something we have talked about since day 1, and the time is finally here and now!
First things first... Need that cocoa butter to keep everything in check!!
Next, baby naming, it takes me forever to find a name I like, so the earlier start we get, the better!!

I have lost 2 pounds but my tummy is obviously growing!!

I put on 40pounds each pregnancy, believe it or not, so I'm ready!

Thanx to Mummy and Daddy for good, genes, I always pop right back to …

Star Wars Birthday Party

It's that time of year for the boys double birthday party!!
Since I... I mean they are so into star wars that was the obvious choice of a party theme.

It was so cute at the end of the party after the boys opened all their gifts and John says, "Well, what did Mummy and I get you?"  They both shrugged.  I said, "We got you this beautiful party, and that is your gift."
They both hugged us and said thank you without even complaining that we didn't buy them anything, such gracious boys!
Then John brought out their bikes and they went crazy!! It was the cutest thing.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful boys, Happy 7th and 9th Birthday Ethan and Kaiden!
