Nothing Says Halloween Like...

Carving pumpkins! We had an amazing Halloween party over the weekend and I didn't even take one picture. Yes, me, Rebecca Benham, not one picture (I do have a video of the haunted house experience), but I totally regret it. So I decided we would have lots of pictures of us carving our pumpkins last night. So.  Much. Fun. Everyone got so into it, and I really think the pumpkins turned out really well. There is something magical about Halloween and carving pumpkins. It always reminds me of the night John met the boys,  it was in October and we had Halloween flashlights, kids playing chase with the lights off running around while their special flashlights made shadows in the shape of bats and pumpkins. The smell of a fresh cut pumpkin. I love all of it.  And I am so happy we have these great pics for memories. Be sure to check out the video at the end, it's pretty dark, but thanks to everyone that made it a very memorable night!!

Oktoberfest

This weekend John, myself and Amalia made it out to Helen for Oktoberfest. I love our matching outfits! She is so cute! She was dancing all night and everyone kept trying to talk to her and were staring at her. I don't blame them, I can't get over the cuteness either!

Too Cute!

This post is purely because I'm obsessed with seeing these 2 together, I can't get enough of the cuteness! I hope to take a thousand of these, but it's a bit difficult getting both toddlers cooperating at the same time.

Corn Maze

The cub scouts had a pack meeting at a corn maze, I have never been to a corn maze so I thought it'd be pretty cool. I had absolutely no idea they would have a pumpkin patch, pony rides, and this jumpy thing built into the ground. Amalia was on it being thrown around with the big kids, when she got off we saw that there was a baby one, oops! I am sure she preferred it that way anyway. Ethan did the maze with his den 1st and was really excited to take us through it. he whole time he was beaming with pride as he guided the family through the maze, and he was so happy to help his little sister. As you will notice Kaiden isn't in any of the pics, he was off with his friends the entire time, he is definitely at that age now where he enjoys spending a lot of time with his friends.

The Fair

I have been extremely busy with starting my new business but I am making sure to make the time to keep up with my personal blog. I love looking back at our journey so I will make it a priority to keep this going. With that said... This weekend we went to the fair with some good friends of ours and their sweet son who has been a wonderful friends of the boys for all of Ethan's life. Somehow I ended up going on some of the rides with Amalia, while John went on the more "brave" ones with the boys.
