I Work Out

The song "sexy and I know it" gets on my nerves.  My kids go to the neighbours, hear it on tv and come home singing "sexy and I know it" and " I got passion in my pants".  I get the "I work out" part stuck in my head, and since this post is about working out... I work out!

Anyway, I havent worked out in almost a year, you would think after working out everyday I would have wihtdrawals, nope, not at all!

I started walking on the greenway and it made me realize how much I love exercising, so back in the gym again.

As you can see we are committed, no excuses here! 
I am dieting for the first time ever in my life, have to get rid of the last 5 lbs to get to my regular weight to fit into my clothes.  I knew people hated dieting, but OMG, being without cookies is really hurting me.  I think I almost cried once, yes, for a cookie. 
And I swear my baby smells like ice cream! Sometimes if I kiss her right after she feeds I can taste the sweet on her lips.  Her sugar breath tortures me all day long. 
Not much longer though, I'm sure I'll lose the 5 in a week and can get back to normal life if my trainer (John) allows me to. 
Okay, let me stop talking about cookies, I'll just go eat a handfull of almonds and drink water.  Sigh.

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
