House Boat

I can't believe it is still May and yet I have another post!
Finally we have had a few days to relax and do nothing.
Sunday, house boat, Monday pool.
today we are back to planning and being busy.
Tomorrow we have some family coming into town so we are about to be super busy all over again.

This computer just refuses to save my... uh, saves!! So heres another sideways pic.
Okay, I won't lie I had a hard time posting this pic because I'm not quite where I want to be, but it was a wayyy too cute family pic to not share.
He LOVES giving his sister kisses!
11 week on the dot and she rolled over!! This is her trying to do it again, half way there! 3 times back to back! That's our girl!! Her peace sign! haha

Johns facebook comment on this pic:
So Amalia rolled over Sunday at 11 weeks old while we on the houseboat with some of our great friends...but when we reviewed the pic we noticed she was saying "peace" with her hands. Oh no she didn't! Show off! Told you she's advanced!
All that hot tubbing and rolling over sure wears a baby out!

Loving the pool! I am so happy that she can smile not.  Shes so ticklish too.   Very cute.
She loves the water but always falls right asleep after.  That leaves tanning time for the grown ups.

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
