This "Magical" Life

If I could sum up our relationship with one word it would be magical.   It seems like the combo of John+Becca=Magic.  Since we have been together it has been a series of magical moments that are joined into one big segment callee our life together.  Last night was nothing short of this "magic" we have come to expect of our time together.  After a very, lets say interesting and happy, yet emotional day we got to close the evening with an extra magical experience.  We went to see the one man in the world that can make me cry, Josh Groban.
His voice is that of an angel, it vibrates through my soul.  I, as always, lost my composure a few times and shed a tear or two, John just smiled and held my hand and offered a shoulder to rest my head.  He seemed to enjoy watching me enjoy the concert more than he enjoyed the concert himself.  So sweet.
We are so in love, and so happy.

"Who puts the rainbow in the sky?
Who lights the stars at night?
Who dreamt up someone so divine,
Someone like you and made them mine?
Love can make you ask some funny questions now and then
But just remember the alternatives
For I remember when I was lonely,
And unhappy and my lips were cold as ice
But you kissed me and good Heavens,
Now I’m here in paradise
So if I’m ever not kissing you or looking in your eyes
I won’t be blind and I won’t cry
I’ll look up high and gladly sigh
And thank the guy
Who puts the rainbow in the sky
Who lights the stars at night
Who dreamt up someone so divine,
Someone like you and made them mine
Someone like you and made them mine"

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
