Beingness

"In life, you do not have to do anything,
It is all a question of what you are being."

Neale Donald Walsch.

I am trying to "be" the thing called "happiness", the thing called "peace" and the thing called "love".  I think I'm doing a pretty good job. =)  Being these things creates the experience of having them (since you can't be them and not have them).  The method works for me, that's for sure!

I am truly worn out.  After being in bed all weekend trying to get better (which worked by the way), I was back on Mummy duty as a volunteer at Scout Camp.  I promised Kaiden I would be there so my body had no choice but to cooperate with me and be there and functional.
I still can't get over how big he is, and I don't just mean physically.  He has always been a mature independent young man, but it seems from week to week he has drastic growth.
After this pic I finally convinced him to get a trim.
It is only  6pm and I think I am having an early evening.  Completed all my duties for the day (the ones that matter immediately at least), including making Johns, or one of Johns favorite dinners.
A little thank you for being patient and loving while nursing me back to heath all weekend.  Thank you. =)  Ill try and stop being a drain on the household in a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
