Fairy Garden

The weather has been so nice and Amalia is loving our walks.
The neighbours love our walks too because she runs around waving at everyone she sees and every car that goes by.
She likes going to other peoples garden as well, but who wouldn't like a fairy in their garden?
Definitely not me!
This is also the first time I got her to keep her shoes on, yay!
It's definitely time to start wearing shoes more often.
Also, this may be tmi, but speaking of firsts, she went poopie in the potty!
I have gotter her to pee pee several times but today this was a first.
I am excited because it is so much easier to flush than to clean up a diaper.

She is growing so big and this warm weather is so familiar to her.
I think it was tough for her to be inside most of this time not we get to go out everyday and she gets to do what she is more familiar with.

John and the boys have been enjoying the weather as well, they spend a lot of time outside playing ball.

Nothing like perfect weather!  Dubai is almost 100 degrees already!
Looks like it was great timing! We missed most of winter here and will miss 120 degree summer there!

I am posting the head back pic for her Daddy, he is obsessed with her curly hair!

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
