This Is Easy

Being so far away from my friends and family for the holidays is kinda sad, but it's still easy to come up with many things to be thankful for!

Starting with, of course John, Kaiden, Ethan and Amalia.
And of course Mummy, Daddy and Binx, my sister.
Whose birthday is today by the way, Happy Birthday Binx!
I am Thankful for opportunities.
For life, love, happiness.
I am very happy for warmth, I HATE the cold. Every time I get homesick I remind myself it's cold and then I am over it.
Thankful I am doing exactly what I love, taking care of my family.
Thankful that I have my pre-baby body back, thought it would never happen when I had a huge belly.
I am thankful for new people and new experiences.  The boring life never was for me. This adventure is right down my alley.
Thankful for the people I am meeting and friends that I am making.
Thankful for my "expat family" who we will be spending Thanksgiving with tomorrow.
Thankful that my children are happy.

I have truly had the most amazing year that anyone could ever have.
Perfect wedding, to the perfect man, with all my best friends and family.
Perfect pregnancy, gave birth to a perfect baby.
My boys are making me prouder and prouder as each day goes by.
I am closer to my parents than I have ever been (and we've been pretty close), they are just so sweet and supportive and always make the effort to talk to me at all crazy hours.
I live in Dubai. I am still like ?????
Wow.  Amazing.

All my dreams have come true. I am Thankful for that, and everyone that has been a part of it.
I love you all.
I'm going to stop here because I could go on and on.

But really, (okay, one more) I am thankful that I have the ability to always be grateful and be aware of how lucky I am for the wonderful people and opportunities in my life.
If you read my blog I think it's pretty obvious that I am always thankful, every moment of every day for  my life and the people in it.
Thank you all for being a part of our life.

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
