Finally Legal

Yay! My visa came through!
The funny part about it is that it says my occupation is "housewife" then goes on to say "Not allowed to work".  Someone told John years ago, "She wants you for your money." And his response was, "If she marries me she will never work again, unless of course she wants to." Ha! So that line on the visa tickles me.
It was such a pain in the ass to get, all ex-pats here know how annoying it is trying to get a visa.
So happy I am done with that phase and I never have to leave the Palm again!

Now that I am used to this place I have found my new comfort zone which consist of pool, beach and beach club.

It has everything I want or need so I don't see any reason to ever leave.

I am finding friends here now. We get the kids together, meet at the restaurant, go to movie night, go shopping together (the only reason to leave the Palm).

Someone asked me, "Don't you feel isolated there?"
Ummm, YES!! Wonderfully isolated!

The kids have all their friends now and play and play and play for hours on end.
I mean, hello, playground on the beach, soccer on the beach, the beach, the pool, electric scooters to go up and down the sidewalk on the beach.
No complaints from their department.

And I just love this picture! This is how I see her eyes when I look at them.
She is getting more beautiful by the second!!
And hello eyelashes! They actually touch her eyebrows! She def didn't get those from me! Lucky girl!

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
