A New Life

I am so thrilled at how well Amalia has handled school and has become such a "big girl" a home.

From day one never a single tear or complaint about school.  She comes home satisfied and even better... tired!

Our relationship has changed so much, we have gotten closer since she is getting the stimulation she needs at school and I am getting the time I need at home without interruption or constant messes being made.  Oh, and I signed up for monthly subscription for a weekly chiropractic visits... I think I should add a weekly massage to that.  Life.  Changing!! They actually do children too, I wonder if it would change their lives too? Lol, worth a try!

And she is just like me, super grumpy after a nap, lol!

And the Fun Begins

On Sunday, March 11th, we welcomed our newest family member.  Amalia Rachael Emily Benham. It all began Saturday morning.  I had signs of labor but we had the Pinewood Derby so I hoped she would wait.  And of course, she did. Contractions started coming in very slowly and Mummy and Binx came over.  We hung out, and hung out, and hung out and the contractions weren't getting stronger but slowly moving closer together.  We all finally took naps then we started hanging out again.  Finally at 12am we decided to go to the hospital. 3 cm dilated and I was admitted. Kindle, my bff of course came to the hospital as well.  All our biggest supporters were there. Waiting for Baby  Getting some well needed rest. Last moments before birth  My contractions never got  intense before the epidural kicked in, thank goodness.  Somehow my left side didn't kick in so I could feel it all on that side, but because I have back labor and I co...

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
