The Perfect Christmas

We were lucky (smart) enough to get almost all our shopping, and decorating done before Thanksgiving so we were able to really relax and enjoy the season.
By relax I mean tons of holiday movies and Christmas parties… and of course my sister moving in, so lots of time to spend with her.

Amalia had her "surprised" face all morning and she talked in her sleep Christmas Eve saying "Santi! Santi!"  Cutest thing EVER!!

Kaiden started pacing the house from about 3pm saying he was excited.

When we tucked Ethan in he had us feel how hard his heart was pumping and said he was so excited it made his tummy hurt.

Santa lived up to all the hype and we have 3 very happy children.

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.

Because Of You

Daddy, because of you I...well, exist.  Because of you I know I am special because you told me every day.Because of you I made it through some really hard times, you were and are still always there for me.  Because of you I always know I have a friend to listen that always has my back.  Thanks for letting me watch T.V. when I wasn't allowed to, bringing me home chocolates and pepsi (which was a BIG deal back then).  Thank you for everything you have done for me, and I hope you know how much I love you.
