Very Valentine

I always feel bad for John this time of year.
My birthday then Valentines Day 3 days later.
Somehow every year he makes them both special, I think this year was the best though.  (Except that one time when we went to Jamaica on Valentines Day)

The moment I woke up he says, "Happy Velentines Day, will you be mine?"
I had the biggest smile on my face.  He is always so romantic. 
I walk out into the living room and there are roses, heart biscuits, a gift and heart shaped candles... lit... at 8 in the morning.
How does he do this without me knowing?

The day only got better and better.  

Since I cook every night it was time for a break.
Dubai has the worst beef EVER so I haven't had a good steak in a while and he knew I have been craving it so he took me to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. 
I haven't been there in so long, it felt like we were back in the US again.

I also did my part by getting him and the kids some valentine gifts and decorated the house to set the stage for whatever romantic things he  had planned.  I hate that I have to take it down, so pretty!

Thank you to my romantic hubby for another perfect day.
 Thank you for showing me how much you love me not just on Valentines Day, but every day.

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. Because Of You

Daddy, because of you I...well, exist.  Because of you I know I am special because you told me every day.Because of you I made it through some really hard times, you were and are still always there for me.  Because of you I always know I have a friend to listen that always has my back.  Thanks for letting me watch T.V. when I wasn't allowed to, bringing me home chocolates and pepsi (which was a BIG deal back then).  Thank you for everything you have done for me, and I hope you know how much I love you.
