Man of many Talents

I have been so busy, which seems to be the usual trying to keep 2 little energetic boys entertained.
I never want to hear "I'm bored!" So we try and fill their little lives with activities.
I love fall! It has fun, outdoor inexpensive activities with the perfect weather to enjoy it all to the fullest.

Evening walks after dinner, he tells the kids scary stories.

Hush yah baby, don't listen to him, there are no monsters in the bushes, and those are not monster footprints in the grass.

Took Kaiden to a scout looperama in Dahlonega, our little up and coming photographer Ethan took this while waiting for Kaiden to complete earning his belt loops.
 Only in North GA!
Since we were already up that way next stop was the pumpkin patch.
Admiring his talents.  He is so good at everything he does. =)
And the grand finale!! John did such a great job copying these patterns.
Thank you sooooo much! No other pumpkins we make can ever top this.
They are even looking into each others eyes.
All that in just a 24 hour period, I was exhausted!!
Ethan had insisted he wanted to learn to play golf.
A much simpler day, where I could relax and just watch.
Again, man of many talents, story teller, artist, pumpkin carver, golf tutor...
Kaiden is AMAZING at this! He definitely needs to keep it up.
Ethan on the other hand had some serious golf rage.
There was frustration, crying, yelling.  John explained to him that this isn't the first time he has seen this on the golf course, its normal.
He told them a story about a man he used to play with who always cheated and justified it by being the one that paid for the game, which sometimes gave John some serious golf rage!
They thought it was really funny that John used to get upset and throw/break clubs at this insanity!
Ethan laughed and promised that next time he won't get mad or cry, he will just let his brain tell him to try harder.
Good day yesterday, John came home early and we got to spend lots of extra time together. =)  Fresh baked gooey brownies, glass of milk by candle light while watching Casper the Movie? Don't mind if I do!
Love my Life.

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. And the Fun Begins

On Sunday, March 11th, we welcomed our newest family member.  Amalia Rachael Emily Benham. It all began Saturday morning.  I had signs of labor but we had the Pinewood Derby so I hoped she would wait.  And of course, she did. Contractions started coming in very slowly and Mummy and Binx came over.  We hung out, and hung out, and hung out and the contractions weren't getting stronger but slowly moving closer together.  We all finally took naps then we started hanging out again.  Finally at 12am we decided to go to the hospital. 3 cm dilated and I was admitted. Kindle, my bff of course came to the hospital as well.  All our biggest supporters were there. Waiting for Baby  Getting some well needed rest. Last moments before birth  My contractions never got  intense before the epidural kicked in, thank goodness.  Somehow my left side didn't kick in so I could feel it all on that side, but because I have back labor and I co...

Beautiful Baby Shower

This past weekend was our baby shower!!  We decided to do it a bit early because I am one of those over-organized, over-prepared types.  It was hosted by my best friend Kindle and my sister Bianca. I told Kindle I wanted a slight winter wonderland pink theme since it is so close to Christmas and this is what I walked in to! It was absolutely beautiful, and we were joined by all our best family and friends, we appreciate everyone that made this such a special day for us.  This game was to guess how big I was and believe it or not the winner was Ethan!! He definitely knows his Mummy!  The chocolate diaper game. (It was Johns first shower, he must've thought we were all crazy).  Getting ready for presents!! (The boys got to open them all).  Kindle surprised the boys with a gift each. It was a shirt with their picture saying "I'm the biggest Brother" and "I'm the big Brother" for the hospital. Most thoughtful thing ever!!! I wish I could relive ...
