Weekend Fun

After 3 solid weeks of doing "kids stuff", we have a kid free weekend!! (Minus a fetus of course) So, what can an exhausted pregnant girl do? Not much, but we did manage to have a full and entertaining weekend.I had a fudge craving, perfect excuse to take a quick trip to Helen on a Friday evening.  I am so so so glad we went.  I always find Helen to be very romantic, and, as usual, it was.  Can never have too much romance =)

Between a lot of hand holding and eye gazing we found some time to be a little silly while grabbing some fresh squeezed lemonade, I'm SO making a pitcher of that!

It was a great break from my typical going to the pool... and I guess that's all I have been doing!! It's obviously not THAT bad to go to the pool frequently, up keeping my summer glow, and spending time with John when he can come with me, but I have been missing my gym time now that I have become lazy and suspended my membership... =(  I seem to keep up on exercise walking through EVERY baby store in the entire Atlanta area!

Anyway, today we went to Cirque du Soleil "Dralion", it was the usual Cirque du Soleil AMAZING!! It is about my 6th show, don't think I will ever get tired of it.
All in all, a great week and even better weekend.  Can't wait for the boys to get home, I always miss their little faces. =)

Oh! And even though you can't really tell in the pics, little baby Benham is getting bigger and bigger, which of course means I'm having a harder and harder time fitting into my teeny clothes, so exciting!

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
