Swim Meets

  This is the boys 3rd year on swim team and they have had such great improvement in their stroke technique and their speed.
 
  Swim is my favorite activity that they do, though the meets are long and the practice is 5 days a week I enjoy it thoroughly.  This is sadly their last year on the Woodland Waves team and I am hoping that they will join a new team next summer, though they are saying they don't want to.  Amalia will finally be able to join the team next year and has been practicing all summer and she can make it the short length of the pool doing freestyle and breast stroke.

Summer is my favorite time of year, pool days every day!

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.

Because Of You

Daddy, because of you I...well, exist.  Because of you I know I am special because you told me every day.Because of you I made it through some really hard times, you were and are still always there for me.  Because of you I always know I have a friend to listen that always has my back.  Thanks for letting me watch T.V. when I wasn't allowed to, bringing me home chocolates and pepsi (which was a BIG deal back then).  Thank you for everything you have done for me, and I hope you know how much I love you.
