Ice Cream, You Scream.

We had a day last week when we didn't leave the house at all.
The kids were  driving each other crazy so after dinner we decided to take them for some ice cream.

On the way home we saw a sweet old lady mowing her lawn, so we turned back and the boys offered to mow her lawn for her.

Her and her husband were so appreciative and I think they really liked having the company and watching the kids run around catching lightning bugs after they finished with the lawn.

It's so nice watching my boys being EXACTLY who I have dreamed them to be.  I thought there was a chance they would complain or give up, neither of them did! They both couldn't wait for their turn to help with the lawn, Ethan wants to go back every week to do her lawn for her.

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.

Rachael Emily-Baby Naming

The hardest part about having a child for me is finding a name.  I have been dreading the naming process, that is why we started so early. I didn't get a name for Ethan until I went into labor and was hoping that would not be the case this time. I am a super organized control freak kind of person so it has been stressing me out. We decided to go to Barnes and Noble to give it another try.  While searching, and hating every name, I re-suggested a name that I have loved for a long time and we decided! Yay! I was SO excited! I still am so excited. I never would've guessed we would find a name so soon. For now I will announce the middle names and save her name for her birth announcement.  The middle names are Rachael Emily. Rachael is to honor my lovely sister that passed 8 years ago.  She is my heart. Emily is my little sisters middle name, and she is my everything. My 2 favorite people balled up into one precious angel, our daughter. =) Celebrate with a pum...
