Birthday/Valentines Day

February is a big month for us.  My Birthday-the 11th, Valentines Day- the 14th, half year Anniversary-the 15th. Our 1st year together we celebrated in Jamaica! With the baby coming soon this year is a lot quieter, but no less special. Ethan insisted over and over and over again that everyone sing me Happy Birthday again and again.  I caught the cutest thing on video, notice at the end where he squints his eyes at me.  So precious. This'll prob be the last pic before baby comes! My sister got me this fabulous Michael Kors watch, can't wait to get it sized!!! Valentines Day was cute, I did manage to drag myself to go see The Vow, really cute movie.  I don't want to leave the house again till I go to the hospital.  Keep dreaming, I know. Now is such a busy time, a time of transition.  A lot going on.  When everything gets moving I'll be sure to update you guys.

I Love you "EVERY Day"

"The best thing about my home is the people I share it with." Before the shoot... don't act like your kids aren't just like this! Lol.  Huge! Yes, I am aware it's all belly, but huge none the less.   Going through the photo cd I noticed most of the family photos were ruined by Kaiden, I figured I'd make use of his "fun" pics.  Sneaky boy! I share my life with my absolute favorite people.  It's so nice spending everyday with my best friends.  Ethan asks John, "Why does Mummy always say she loves me, she says it EVERY day!" and " Why does Mummy miss me? I see her EVERY day"Well excuuuuse me for annoying you!  Then he goes on to say, "I wish me you Mummy and Kaiden could get home everyday at the same time." Busted!  See, you feel the same way.

Change is in the Air

I believe that change is necessary in life, I am all for change. Change is also very hard sometimes.  My mother has lived in the same house for 13 years (since we moved here), and now she is moving. It was a l ittle heartbreaking seeing my old room for the last time, telling the neighbours bye etc. I think the hardest thing for us to all leave behind are the memories of Rachael. It feels a little silly, because its "just a house", but for us it was a home, filled with love and laughter... and of course all our last memories of Rachael. I haven't really wanted to admit this, but she has been on my mind.... A LOT. Every time I have another baby she is especially on my mind. And with the babies middle name being Rachael, it is even more so. I love being able to incorporate her into their lives, actually with Kaiden and Ethan they were both due on the day she died, they are our families angels, so is she. When I was putting together this little set up for Baby Benham ...

Ready for Everything

With so much assembly going on with the boys new Christmas stuff I am surprised, but happy, that we got the crib stuff all assembled! I am so pleased with the outcome. We got the softest Pottery Barn Chamois crib sheet, it is the perfect place to rest the head of an angel. Everything is coming together so perfectly. I went through my list of things that a wrote a year ago about what I wanted for 2011. I do not remember writing this but it was fun to see that I wrote "baby". We are so blessed to all have each other, love, happiness and peace in our lives. For 2012 I just pray that everything stays just as perfect. This year has been so joyful, I can only imagine how much more happiness our little girl will bring to the lives of all of us that love and care about her so dearly already.

The Best Things in Life

We had an AMAZING Christmas. It seems to get better and better every year. We did stories with the boys, Norad Santa, baking, laughing, loving, enjoying, playing games... all the things that makes Christmas Eve special. Ethan every year cries before bed on Christmas Eve. He says his tummy hurts and his heart hurts every Christmas Eve thinking about Santa. His emotions are so overwhelming he doesn't know how to handle it. When we put out all the Santa gifts, while cuddling next to John, Binx on the recliner, I looked around at the tree, the presents the brownies and said, "We are so lucky". This overwhelming feeling of gratitude filled me. Looking at a mountain of presents and all I could think is that the best things in life... aren't things.

Brownies for the baby!

Even though I finished this forever ago I only just took pics of the headboard we made. I am beside myself excited about Christmas! The kids are really going to enjoy it, they are getting everything they put on their toys r us wishlist... and I think I am getting everything on my wish list too... he hee. My sister is spending the weekend with us, and I am pretty sure she makes the absolute best brownies EVER, and since I have only gained 15lbs so far I think I'll use pregnancy as my excuse of why I should have double... okay, make that TRIPLE the amount everyone else gets. I am finally taking advantage of the "I am pregnant" excuse since I am well into my third trimester and won't have the excuse much longer. We have everything ready for our baby girl now I can't wait to see her pretty little face.
