Amalia's 5th Birthday!

I cannot rave enough how much happiness and sass she has brought into our lives!
Amalia is brilliant and keeps us on our toes at all time, you can't put anything past her!
She loves school and is learning to read quite well.
She is incredibly independent and can hold her own with her two big brothers.
She is always quick to say "I'm sorry", and is constantly professing her love for each one of us individually.
She always likes to be the one to say prayers at dinner time, and for almost 2 years she starts her prayer, 'Thank you that Grandpa feels better."
There is no shortness of love and gratitude in our how, and on her birthday we are particularly thankful for our 5 years spent with Amalia.

As her main gift I got her an outfit to match Willa, her Wellie Wisher.
As a special surprise I dropped off an outfit to math Ashlyn, for her best friends Kinleigh.
The surprise went over very well, I will never forget the look on her face when she realized!
Over all her Woodland Fairy party was a success!

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
