Ballet Photos

My sister gave Amalia this adorable tutu for a part of her Christmas present.
I absolutely adore it!  And since we just ordered Amalia's "big girl" bedroom set and I didn't know how I wanted to decorate the new room I decided to use the tutu for inspiration.

The furniture will arrive any day now, as well as the bedding so I need help making some decisions.

The art work will of course be photos of none other than my sweet little ballerina herself!

Here is the problem, Amalia refused to wear the crystal headpiece that I wore for my wedding, but it's so tasteful and delicate and beautiful.
The photos with the bow came out better, but I really, really, REALLY want to use the ones with the head piece.

What do you guys think? Pick your faves and let me know.  Im guessing I will use 3 or 4 of the top favorites.
Help! I need to print them soon and get them ready to go up!
(The one with Kaiden is because he was my assistant and bribed her with cookies to cooperate.)

  2. Becca, These are adorable: My faves are #2,3,9 & 10!!! I love them all, but the one with her belly button showing is precious and I love the crystal headpiece as well! You should put it in a shadow box in her room too. Rhonda

And the Fun Begins

On Sunday, March 11th, we welcomed our newest family member.  Amalia Rachael Emily Benham. It all began Saturday morning.  I had signs of labor but we had the Pinewood Derby so I hoped she would wait.  And of course, she did. Contractions started coming in very slowly and Mummy and Binx came over.  We hung out, and hung out, and hung out and the contractions weren't getting stronger but slowly moving closer together.  We all finally took naps then we started hanging out again.  Finally at 12am we decided to go to the hospital. 3 cm dilated and I was admitted. Kindle, my bff of course came to the hospital as well.  All our biggest supporters were there. Waiting for Baby  Getting some well needed rest. Last moments before birth  My contractions never got  intense before the epidural kicked in, thank goodness.  Somehow my left side didn't kick in so I could feel it all on that side, but because I have back labor and I co...

Beautiful Baby Shower

This past weekend was our baby shower!!  We decided to do it a bit early because I am one of those over-organized, over-prepared types.  It was hosted by my best friend Kindle and my sister Bianca. I told Kindle I wanted a slight winter wonderland pink theme since it is so close to Christmas and this is what I walked in to! It was absolutely beautiful, and we were joined by all our best family and friends, we appreciate everyone that made this such a special day for us.  This game was to guess how big I was and believe it or not the winner was Ethan!! He definitely knows his Mummy!  The chocolate diaper game. (It was Johns first shower, he must've thought we were all crazy).  Getting ready for presents!! (The boys got to open them all).  Kindle surprised the boys with a gift each. It was a shirt with their picture saying "I'm the biggest Brother" and "I'm the big Brother" for the hospital. Most thoughtful thing ever!!! I wish I could relive ...
