Jamaica: Where I Grew Up

The last time we were in Jamaica I made sure to take the boys to all the places I used to go to.

Going to Aunty Belindas is always a must.

I lived 2 doors down from her and it was fun taking the boys to the house I used to live in.

Then Rennies Beach. We went there just about every weekend, I love going there.

It was so sweet when the boys remembered it and begged for me to take them there on this trip.

I love how it is so important to them to revisit the places I grew up.

Ethan is so cute, while we were there whenever someone asked where we were from he always responded, "Here!"

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured. Because Of You

Daddy, because of you I...well, exist. Because of you I know I am special because you told me every day.Because of you I made it through some really hard times, you were and are still always there for me. Because of you I always know I have a friend to listen that always has my back. Thanks for letting me watch T.V. when I wasn't allowed to, bringing me home chocolates and pepsi (which was a BIG deal back then).
