Germany:Amalias Perspective

At 3 months old I have now travelled to several different countries.   My parents keep getting close to my face smiling and talking telling me what an amazing life I am going to have.  Umm, helloo! I already have an amazing life! I am always held, my food is on demand and I get to nap all the time!
Here I am with Mummy at the airport
 Checking out some cartoons
What a view! This travelling thing is fun!
 Picking up the rental
I'm going where? To this castle?

This is fun stuff, but I am just a baby and get sleepy from time to time
 Driveway to castle

There were some very scary things in there such as this...
 Or this...
But by far the one that scared me the most is this!!!!
Some kind of baby torture!
They finally take me out of this scary place into town.  It was lovely there.  Rivers, sculpture, pretty buildings, water fountains and a country full of people that adore babies!!

Did I mention that Mummy took me on a crazy shopping spree for this trip?  I love my new dresses!
Mummy and Daddy say its not possible for a baby to be cuter and sweeter than me. (I have them wrapped around my littlest finger!)

Mr. and Mrs. John Benham!!!

This is the moment we have both been waiting for for years! It was perfection. Nothing short of magical. We had quite a bit of time after getting ready, there were so many emotions, so happy I laughed, so happy I cried. I love these photos and am so happy that every moment was captured.  Can't wait to see the professional ones!                                 Waiting for the go ahead                                         It's time!!                              Everyone ready t...

No Rest For The Weary

Yesterday was sweet and sad, and maybe a bit boring. Amalia woke up with a fever and insisted on sleeping right on top of me on and off all day. Even though she was sick, and I did feel a bit cruel and selfish, I pulled out my camera and got to clicking. I simply won't give her a break! But it was worth it.   Look how sweet and peaceful she looked only an hour before she threw up on me. She is the prettiest little girl and oh so sweet.   I love photographing her. She still has a bit of a temperature today so it seems I am back on "pamper the baby even more than normal" duty. My job is to lay on the couch and be her bed, her comfort, and anything else she may need. And today I will give her a break from her modeling duties. I have the best job in the world. I love my kids.

Long Awaited

Ethan has had the typical "little brother" problems. A huge one being that he has been going to all Kaidens scouting activities for 2 years and couldn't participate. Being the observer of your bigger brother having fun... not so much fun. Then we had the move to Dubai, so what should've been his first year, wasn't. He was so excited and was all smiles at his very first scouting event where he could participate! I can't get over how cute and official he looked in his uniform. He took every belt loop he earned extremely seriously. It's also weird to see Kaiden in his webelo uniform, I always saw it as for the "bigger boys". I guess my little Kaiden is one of the big boys now.
