Life Goes On

Amalia is 2 and a half weeks now.  I am learning her personality and it is so much fun getting to know her.  She is a real chill baby but I have definitely spoilt her quite a bit.  She is held... all the time.  All the money spent on these contraptions that she refuses to stay in. She was born on a GREAT sleep schedule but her newborn photo shoot threw her off for 2 days but we got her back on it.  She goes to sleep around 6:30 and wakes up at 5:30 am, waking up just for quick feedings in the night. We have been busy.  I can't lay around hanging out with her all the time, especially weekend because of Kaiden and Ethan, so we have been out and about from time to time keeping these boys entertained.  Life goes on after baby.  Red cheeks from the pool

Due Date

Today is Amalias due date! She is 9 days old.  I am happy to have had that extra unexpected 9 days with her.  It has been a pleasure getting to know her, shes a sweet heart.  Her little hair is growing so much and her eyes are now greyish, i wonder what color they will end up being.  She still looks just like John. The boys are enjoying her in between doing boys stuff, school and playing with their friends.  Most of you are asking for pics with her eyes open so I have a few for you.  hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

It all began Saturday morning.  I had signs of labor but we had the Pinewood Derby so I hoped she would wait.  And of course, she did. Contractions started coming in very slowly and Mummy and Binx came over.  We hung out, and hung out, and hung out and the contractions weren't getting stronger but slowly moving closer together.  We all finally took naps then we started hanging out again.  Finally at 12am we decided to go to the hospital. 3 cm dilated and I was admitted. Kindle, my bff of course came to the hospital as well.  All our biggest supporters were there. Waiting for Baby  Getting some well needed rest. Last moments before birth  My contractions never got  intense before the epidural kicked in, thank goodness.  Somehow my left side didn't kick in so I could feel it all on that side, but because I have back labor and I couldn't feel pain in my back, it wasn't
